Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity is a community philanthropy. Homes built in Des Moines are funded by the Des Moines community. Many opportunities exist for local faith groups, businesses and organizations to partner in both the construction of homes and the extensive services we provide our families.
Our partners find their involvement with Habitat to be rewarding on many levels. Providing a 'hand up' to a hard working family in need, contributing to the economic development of Greater Des Moines and experiencing a staff development exercise like none other while keeping their charitable donations local.
